What the course involves

This qualification has core units of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry as well as specialist fields of work.

The construction industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment and this qualification requires all units of competency to be delivered in this context.

Completion of unit CPCCWHS1001 of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site.

Delivery method

All delivery options include workplace flexible delivery specific to the needs of the employer and apprentice.
Offsite delivery at our training centre when no workplace is available to complete specific tasks, a simulated workplace has been created to meet these requirements.

Student eligibility

The Certificate III in Solid Plastering (CPC31020) is offered as a VTG (Victorian Government) funded qualification for eligible students (offered by AWCI ANZ through Apprenticeship arrangements).
